2→0 TRASH policies and terms
Prohibited items
Prohibited & restricted items
Do not include hazardous, regulated, illegal, medically sensitive, or otherwise restricted materials in a normal junk-removal load unless 2→0 TRASH has specifically reviewed and accepted them in writing.
Generally not accepted through standard service
- Explosives, ammunition, fireworks, or weapons requiring special handling
- Gasoline, fuels, unknown chemicals, strong solvents, pesticides, poisons, or unlabeled liquids
- Compressed-gas cylinders, propane tanks, or pressurized containers unless specifically approved
- Asbestos-containing or suspected asbestos material
- Medical waste, needles/sharps, biological waste, bodily-fluid-contaminated material, or infectious waste
- Radioactive material or unknown industrial material
- Illegal items or property you do not have authority to remove
- Any material a receiving facility will not lawfully accept from our operation
Items that may require review
Paint, batteries, electronics, refrigerators/freezers, tires, concrete, soil, rocks, construction debris, treated lumber, very heavy items, pianos/safes, appliances, wet yard material, and other special streams may require advance review, a surcharge, a different receiving facility, or a different service provider.
When in doubt, disclose it
Send a description and photo before booking. The safest answer may be that we cannot take the item, and we would rather identify that before a crew arrives.
